Jefrey D. Moises, MA, MT-BC, CAT-LP, is a board-certified music therapist based in New York City. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from NYU and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. His clinical training includes work in palliative care, inpatient psychiatry, and specialized school settings.

Jefrey currently works as a music therapist at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and with Hospice of New York. In addition to his clinical work, he teaches piano to children with cancer through A Free Bird, a New York City nonprofit providing free arts mentorship, and volunteers as a musician with Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s Alzheimer’s Program. His work is grounded in the use of music and the therapeutic relationship to support identity affirmation, social connection, creative expression, and self-actualization.
